Невзирая на достижения современной науки, эпилепсия среди детей и подростков остается актуальной проблемой.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article provides a review of modern literature on the epidemiology, etiology, and pathogenesis of epilepsy in children.</p><p>Epilepsy is considered one of the most common and serious disorders of the brain.
