Определение содержание йода в волосах у юношей из разных регионов Республики Таджикистан.</p><p>Материал и методы исследования. В работе приняли участие 111 юношей, студентов ТГМУ, которые являлись уроженцами Согдийской области, города Душанбе и ГБАО, добровольно предоставившие волосы для исследования. Определение йода в образцах волос проводилось методом масс-спектрометрии. В исследовании проводилось сравнение показателей содержания йода у добровольцев, разделённых на три группы, а также анализировалось процентное соотношение участников с диагностированным йододефицитом в каждой из групп.</p><p>Результат исследования и их обсуждение. Анализ данных выявил статистически значимое снижение содержания йода в волосах у жителей Душанбе и Согдийской области по сравнению с их сверстниками из ГБАО. Распределение испытуемых с йододефицитом оказалось неоднородным: наибольшая доля таких случаев зафиксирована среди жителей Согдийской области и Душанбе, тогда как в ГБАО йододефицит не был обнаружен. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о наличии зависимости уровня йододефицита от региона проживания.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о том, что жители как минимум двух регионов Таджикистана (Душанбе и Согдийской области) подвержены йододефициту. Эти данные подчеркивают необходимость дальнейшего мониторинга йодного статуса населения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To determine the iodine content in the hair samples from young men from various regions of the Republic of Tajikistan.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The study included 111 male students of Tajik State Medical University from Sughd region, Dushanbe city, and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO). The participants voluntarily provided hair samples for analysis. The iodine concentration in the samples was measured by mass spectrometry. The study compared iodine levels among volunteers divided into three groups based on their region of origin. In addition, the percentage of participants diagnosed with iodine deficiency within each group was analyzed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. Data analysis revealed a statistically significant reduction in hair iodine content among residents of Dushanbe and Sughd regions compared to residents from GBAO. The distribution of iodine deficient participants was uneven: the highest proportion of iodine deficiency cases was observed among residents of Sughd region and Dushanbe, whereas no iodine deficiency was detected among participants from GBAO. The results suggest that iodine deficiency depends on the geographical region of residence.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The results indicate that residents of at least two regions of Tajikistan (Dushanbe and Sughd region) are susceptible to iodine deficiency.
