The journal "Healthcare of Tajikistan" was officially registered in 1933, marking the beginning of its long contribution to the medical and scientific community of Tajikistan.
Today, from its cover design to its content, the journal fully meets the requirements of modern medical publications. It has become an indispensable handbook for practising doctors, providing both up-to-date information and practical guidance.
The journal "Healthcare of Tajikistan" is registered by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan (Registration Certificate No. 0076/JR dated 12.03.2009). It was re-registered on 04.07.2024 under the number 366/JR-97.
The founder of the journal is the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Since 2003 (№22/17 dated 23.05.2003 and renewed on 01.02.2022) the journal has been included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, where the results of candidate and doctoral theses in medical sciences are published.
The journal "Healthcare of Tajikistan" has been indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index since 2011, reflecting its role in providing readers with high-quality scientific medical information.
In accordance with the resolutions of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (initially adopted on 26 April 2018 and reaffirmed on 5 July 2024, under №07), the journal "Healthcare of Tajikistan" is officially recognised as a designated peer-reviewed publication for the dissemination of research results from candidate and doctoral degrees in medical sciences.
Throughout its distinguished history of more than nine decades, the journal "Healthcare of Tajikistan" has published more than 4,300 scientific articles, reflecting profound contributions to medical science and the dedicated efforts of its editorial teams, past and present.
Today, the Editorial Board and Council include scientists from Tajikistan, the Russian Federation, CIS countries, USA and Europe. These specialists represent almost all medical disciplines in three main areas: clinical medicine, preventive medicine, and pharmaceutical sciences.
